LaunchCode's Building Renovation Updates

New HQ, Launching Soon!

We’re excited to welcome students, staff, and friends back to LaunchCode HQ! After an extensive renovation, the building will be an open point of entry for anyone who wants to seek a future in technology. Our mission to build a skilled workforce by creating pathways for driven people seeking careers in technology will be supported by our new innovative space, which will allow LaunchCode to teach more technologists in the future.

After finishing touches are added, the new learning center will be picking up an additional 4,000 square feet with sufficient space to host future collaborations with capacity of 200 people. With this renovation, LaunchCode's staff will be able to teach more students by the creation of more space for people to access the free tools of technical empowerment, increasing class cohort sizes by 33%, from 600 to 800 students per year at the facility.

Not only will the LaunchCode HQ be a permanent home on Delmar Blvd, but it will also physically and symbolically be located on a street historically seen as a divide along racial and socioeconomic lines. Check out the renderings for LaunchCode's new home below.
